Description

Cabo de São Vicente is one of the westernmost points in Europe, located on the coast of Sagres, in the Algarve. Known for its stunning cliffs and breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, this historic site is famous for being a former navigation point for Portuguese explorers during the Age of Discoveries. At this cape, visitors can find the São Vicente Lighthouse, one of the most powerful lighthouses in the world, with a light visible from over 50 km away.
