Description

Jardim Botânico de Lisboa, located in the city center, is a true natural gem. Opened in 1878, the garden was designed to support botanical education and research. It hosts a vast collection of exotic and endemic plants, some of which are rare and of great scientific value. Covering about 4 hectares, the garden is an oasis of tranquility amidst the urban hustle, featuring winding paths, greenhouses, and leisure areas. The Botanical Garden is also an important historical and educational site, forming part of the National Museum of Natural History and Science.
