Next, we head to the Miradouro de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Horta city and the Atlantic. Afterward, it’s time to explore the Mercado Municipal da Horta, where we can discover the flavors and crafts typical of the Azores. For lunch, nothing beats Restaurante Atlético, renowned for its traditional Azorean dishes made with fresh regional ingredients. The afternoon continues with a visit to the Fábrica da Baleia de Porto Pim, where we can learn more about the history of whaling in the Azores. Nearby, the Estação de Peixes Vivos // Aquário do Porto Pim offers an educational and interactive experience about local marine life. We end the day at the tranquil Praia do Porto Pim, where we can relax or take a dip while admiring the imposing Monte da Guia.
