What to expect on this Tour?

The day begins at the majestic Caldeira do Cabeço Gordo, where we can admire the grandeur of nature and breathtaking views of Faial and the neighboring islands. Next, we head to the Ponta do Morro - Castelo Branco, a viewpoint offering a unique setting with impressive rock formations and the Atlantic as a backdrop. After a morning of exploration, it’s time to recharge at Restaurante Bela Vista, where we can enjoy traditional dishes while admiring the incredible ocean view. The afternoon starts with a visit to the relaxing Varadouro natural swimming pools, a perfect spot for a swim in crystal-clear waters surrounded by unique volcanic landscapes. Finally, we visit the Capelinhos Volcano Interpretation Center, where we will learn about the 1957-1958 eruption, its impact on the island, and the fascinating geological history of the Azores.
