Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros (PNSAC), is a protected area located in the Santarém region, known for its karst landscapes, with caves, sinkholes, and underground cavities rich in archaeological and paleontological history. Spanning over 38,000 hectares, the park offers hiking trails, birdwatching, and cave explorations, with the Mira de Aire Caves being a significant attraction. The landscape is marked by limestone mountains and valleys, creating a unique biodiversity with oak trees and local fauna, including various bird species and small mammals.
