Citânia de Sanfins is one of the most significant Iron Age archaeological sites in Portugal. Located in Sanfins de Ferreira, this ancient fortified settlement showcases the lifestyle of pre-Roman peoples of the region. It features walls, circular and rectangular dwellings, and an adjacent museum displaying archaeological findings. The site offers a glimpse into history, highlighting the transition from Castro culture to Romanization.
